|||this works! I have just tried it. I spent over an hour trying to uninstall the actual address bar and this was the only way. I uninstalled firefox and installed it again previously but it kept ALOT still. The toolbar was easy to get rid off by doing the add-ons thing.

|||I had that EXACT same problem with the ALOT toolbar. I had already uninstalled the program, but my web address bar would take me directly to an ALOT search page.
To get rid of it, i had to uninstall firefox %26amp; reinstall. When they ask if you want to save your personal stuff %26amp; bookmarks, you have to click no, or ASK/ALOT will stay.|||Cogari- I tried that but there is nothing in the extension box. Is there another way? This thing hijacks my webpages.
