When I type in the url address bar can I search google?

I used to be able to type a search term in the url address bar and hit enter and it would take me directly to the google search results. How can I do that again?

I don't use IE, but I believe it's under Internet Options. You'll be able to pick your default search engine, which is the one that opens up when you search directly from the address bar.|||It depends on the browser.


Chrome - which is a Google browser, and Firefox will go directly to the Google Search results. Safari and Camino will take you to the Google Search page.
